A Few Words from "God Cares About You" Founder

- Rev Mark Kluzek

DOES GOD CARE ABOUT ME?

Yes, God cares about you. He created you! Psalm 139:15 says, “My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.” God made you special! You say, “I’m not perfect!” You can be in heaven. God loves you so much that Jesus died on a cross to pay for your sins so that you can go to heaven! John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. Look around you and see all the wonderful gifts God has given you, from clean air and water to friends and family! James 1:17 says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Friend, God loves you very much, believe it!

How do I know God is real?

If you are expecting me to prove without a shadow of a doubt that God is real, I will admit that I cannot to this. But please consider a few thoughts – you have nothing to lose and if God is real – everything to gain. The reason I cannot prove God’s existence completely is because Hi Himself has revealed Himself in that way. If God had wanted to, He would sign every sunset: “This day brought to you by God.” We would then live in a world where everyone believed in God and would serve Him out of duty or fear, but not love. Instead, God wanted to make a world where we have a choice whether to believe in, serve and love Him or not. God gave us the freedom to come to Him or not, through faith. So instead of signing every sunset, He has left us clues for us to consider. Will you be willing to examine His clues?

How do I find eternal life?

Ephesians 2: 8,9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God , not of works lest anyone should boast.” Jesus’ death on the cross is what saves us because He paid for our sins with His own precious blood. Now all we need to do is believe in Jesus as our Savior. Sound too easy? That is due to the mercy of God. Jesus did all the work for us. But many, sadly reject God to their own eternal damnation. They choose themselves to go away from God and because He is everything good there is nothing else left but hell. Please don’t make that choice, but believe in Jesus and find a meaningful life now and eternal life when you die.

How do I grow in my faith?

James 4:8 “Come near to God and he will come near to you.”

  1. Believe in Jesus and receive the gift of heaven.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
  2. Confess your faith in Jesus to others.
Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”
  3. Attend church with other Bible-believing Christians to become baptized, grow in the faith, receive holy communion and serve.
Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the day approaching.”
  4. Read God’s Word daily
Matthew 4:4 “Jesus answered, ‘It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
  5. Pray to God daily
Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.”
